Puppy Time!
5 hours across 4 sessions, tailored for you and your puppy

The course is delivered on a 1-2-1 basis, so undivided attention is given to you and your new pup, allowing you to mould the course to suit your needs and giving you personalised support.
The first session is a 2 hour one - the key to raising a happy and healthy pup is knowing how to communicate effectively with them and it is essential to learn this first! So I always start with a crash course in doggy communication! The majority of the problems I work with in older dogs have generally arisen from a miscommunication so I am very passionate about preventing future difficulties!
I'm sorry to say we can't teach your dog how to speak English but you can absolutely learn how to speak dog!! Once we have this in place, you'll soon see how easy it is to apply this to raising your new family member to be a super duper dog!

I will also discuss with you the key things that you expect of your pup. Everyone will have different "house rules" they want to implement and I can show you how to teach these from day 1!
​
The basics will of course be on offer throughout our time together - toilet training, avoiding sleepless nights, simple commands such as "sit", "down", "stay" etc but also less obvious good manners to include good feeding etiquette (not snatching!), how to play nice, how to safely retrieve those things that are not the pup's toys (socks, shoes, cuddly toys etc!) and a manner of other golden nuggets.

It is also important to teach your puppy how to behave around visitors, children and other animals. Plus we will also have some time away from the home, learning on and off lead behaviour, the essential recall and how to socialise your pup with new things - traffic, strangers, other dogs. Plus of course anything specific to you and your routines, local area and extra curricular activities!

Don't worry there will also be plenty of time to learn some fun games to entertain you both and some tricks for showing off with!

I believe that time and effort at this puppy stage sets the foundations for a happy, healthy and well loved dog for the future, creating a friend for life!
